Keto Caramel Latte
The sweet coffee creations of places like Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are beyond delicious. Not only do you get your daily shot of caffeine to keep you going but their elaborate concoctions with caramel, vanilla or even peppermint are straight up addicting. Keto friendly, however, they are not. In order to get an amazing coffee house style keto creations, we’re going to have to do it ourselves. The Keto Caramel Latte is that creation.
Keto Coffee
I love coffee. Who doesn’t? The more caramel and whipped cream, the better. You might as well be making an ice cream sundae in my coffee cup. But, that’s not exactly going to fly, keto wise, if you’re ordering from your local coffee chain. Lucky for us, keto caramel and keto whipped cream are about the easiest sweets to make low carb. Subbing out sugar for a keto option doesn’t take much fuss either. All you’re left with then is the milk that goes into a latte. Unsweetened vanilla almond milk can take its place. With all those easy substitutions ready to go, constructing a delicious gourmet keto coffee is going to be easy as pie. Which, ironically is actually much harder to make on keto. But I digress…
This Keto Caramel Latte recipe is absolutely delicious. Best of all, it only has 1 carb for the whole thing. So feel free to enjoy 2 or three. Just don’t drink too much caffeine at one time. The other great thing about getting the gist of this recipe is that it can be easily adapted to your tastes. You could switch out the caramel for a keto chocolate syrup. If you wanted to you could also add some peppermint extract with that chocolate and have a delicious winter keto coffee treat.
Keto Coffee Techniques
All the techniques used to make this keto latte are pretty straightforward. The recipe for the caramel used in the Keto Caramel Latte can be found HERE. The other thing, other than making espresso, is making whipped cream. It’s shown on the video but essentially all you do is combine the ingredients listed below in a bowl and whip it until peaks form. Be careful not to over whip the keto whipped cream or else it will separate.

- 2 tsp caramel Keto Culinary recipe
- 1/2 cup espresso
- 1/2 tsp Swerve sweetner Confectioners
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 4 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 tsp Swerve sweetner Confectioners
- 1 tsp caramel Keto Culinary recipe
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp caramel Keto Culinary recipe
Ingredients

- In coffee mug add 2 tsp KC caramel. Add espresso and 1/2 tsp Swerve and mix.
- Heat 1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and 1 cinnamon stick over medium heat in a covered pot until boiling. Top espresso with the steamed milk.
- In a mixing bowl add 4 tbsp heavy whipping cream, 1 tsp KC caramel, 1 1/2 tsp Swerve and 1/8 tsp vanilla extract. Whip ingredients together until fully combined and peaks form. Do not over whip or the cream will seperate.
- Top the coffee with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel.
