Keto Old Bay Shrimp

Old Bay Seasoning and the Chesapeake Bay go together like keto and bacon. It’s a natural match made in heaven. I’m originally from Baltimore and these keto Chesapeake Shrimp bring back delicious memories from my childhood.
To use any seasoning other than Old Bay on crabs and shrimp is straight up sacrilege in Baltimore. I won’t go quite that far, but Old Bay is freaking amazing. It’s got ZERO carbs and tastes fantastic. It also takes all the guess work out of seasoning your crustaceans.
It’s so easy that I debated on even posting this recipe. But, there are some recipes I put out, not because they are complicated or hard, but so people know that it is an option in the first place. If you didn’t grow up with it, you might not know about it.
Keto Old Bay Shrimp is one of those recipes. It is so ridiculously easy to make that you could do it blindfolded. It’s also ZERO carbs. Eat as much shrimp as you want. They’re great for you.
If you want a little extra flavor with your Keto Old Bay Shrimp, melt some butter and sprinkle a generous amount of Old Bay into it. Mix it up and use it a super keto-friendly dip for your shrimp. It’s what I do. Plus, it adds some extra fat which is missing from the shrimp to help you better balance your protein to fat ratio for the day.
